QGames Thuas
Introduction
Quantum ‘Games’? That’s right. During my studies I collaborated with THUAS to make a web-design, showcasing quantum games made by student. Although designing the website and logo was fun, I definitely recommend playing these games, as it’s unlike something you have ever seen.

The Field of Quantum
Challenge
Yes, quantum games is something you may not have heard of before which hits the nail right on the head in terms of purpose. The goal was to introduce Quantum Theory in an interesting and simple way in order to get the public more interested in quantum, on the website you will be able to find information about quantum workshops, partners and events. Additionally, we wanted to encourage to partake in this ‘extra’ course so I needed to add this little motivation and above all make the website user-friendly.

Quantum Theory
Working closely with my colleague, I would give weekly updates and present my website design and interaction ideas. I wanted quick interaction in-between games so rather than a boring ‘gamification’ platform, the user could play in a similar setting as regular gaming platforms while making up for it by adding a description and the unique ‘quantum theory’ to which the user can try to understand which theory is used and according to what principles. I found this to be the best approach considering the possible amount of games coming and finding a compromise of both.
